Migraine Awareness Month occurs in June each year and is a particularly important time for educating the public and raising awareness for this complex neurological disorder. As part of our migraine video series, we sat down with Heba Hani, a registered Pharmacist, at a recent congress and asked her to share some insights into the key messages or information patients should be aware of and how pharmacists can contribute to raising awareness and providing valuable information to the community. As non-pharmacological approaches are increasingly recognized as valuable in migraine management, she also discusses how pharmacists can help patients with non-pharmacological strategies, including education, and highlights some of the online resources available for both pharmacists and patients.
